Finally had a chance to slow down long enough to write a few words and it's Mudstock weekend at Muddy's Music Cafe. Between moving Beary home and the 2000 mile move and getting things done we almost didn't make it this year. This is a celebration of the music from the Woodstock era that we don't get to play during the rest of the year and this one promises to be great as always. As for my part of all this, the music from the actual event has been done so many times that my focus is all of the music from the era before and after the event and how it shaped the society and music changes into the 1970's. For those of us that grew up in the era and lived it I'll be doing my best to play the favorites we all grew up with during those years. I hope to see you there. More later and thanks for reading. MJS
